18th September 2005 - The Sunday Telegraph reported,
"....at a cost of almost $250 million dollars worldwide, the Marriot Hotel chain has joined in (the war of
the beds) with a bed called REVIVE."
"But pity the staff who have to make up these latest offerings by hotels. It is reported to be taking an
extra three hours per week to do these huge deluxe beds."
"To assist, staff have been advised to make beds in the kneeling position to avoid back strain or injury".
18th September 2005 - The Sunday Telegraph reported,
"In Chicago, the hotel union has made bed making an Occupational Health and Safety issue."
"New laws have been introduced that mandate three extra breaks for weary housekeeping staff as compensation
for the extra work."
"The Hotel industry has had these laws delayed as they state it will hurt productivity and profits."
